As dessert was served to the visiting pastor, the hostess apologized for not having any cheese to go with the apple pie.
Hearing this, her little son slipped down from his chair and left the room, then returned with a small piece of cheese, which he shyly placed, on the pastor’s plate.
„Why, thank you, son,” said the guest as he popped the cheese in his mouth, „You must have found the last piece! Where did you find it?”
Flushing with pride, the little boy said, „Oh, it was in the mousetrap.”

! dingo era înregistrat ca substantiv masculin invariabil, dar acum are menţionată forma de plural – dingo
* din preajmă are două valori diferite: locuţiune adjectivală (poiana din preajmă) şi locuţiune adverbială (vine din preajmă). Este introdusă în DOOM, de asemenea, locuţiunea prepoziţională *din preajmă(-i).
* dinte-de-cal este un substantiv masculin compus, numele unui soi de porumb pentru care se foloseşte şi mai vechiul substantiv articulat dintele-calului
! dintr-o e o construcţie alcătuită dintr-o prepoziţie şi un adjectiv / articol / numeral
! dintr-odată şi-a schimbat grafia (anterior, corect era dintr-o dată), păstrând însă aceeaşi valoare de locuţiune adverbială
