Este expresia care metaforizează viteza extremă (mult superioară celei a luminii), cu care oamenii şi-ar dori împlinite voile şi visele. Dintotdeauna doritor de urări de bine, omul apelează în circumstanţele rostirii acestor cuvinte la binecunoscuta credinţă în capacităţile ziditoare ale cuvântului. Distanţa dintre zicere şi facere este dorită a fi cât mai mică (sigur, în condiţiile în care cele urate sunt în conformitate cu binele propriu - aşa cum şi-l închipuie, cel puţin). Prin urmare, în secunda imediat următoare rostirii, cuvintele ar trebui să ajungă în locul spre împlinire.

Why shouldn’t the plural of booth be called beeth?
Then one may be that, and three would be those,
Yet hat in the plural would never be hose,
And the plural of cat is cats, not cose.
We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
But though we say mother we never say methren.
Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
But imagine the feminine, she, shis and shim.
