Esau Wood
Pentru a face un exerciţiu de dicţie cu adevărat dificil, a fost creat personajul Esau Wood. Textul este relativ lung şi conţine multe omonime şi încurcături. Chiar şi intonaţia este importantă pentru a face acest text inteligibil pentru ascultători. Exerciţiul este folosit la cursurile de actorie de la Universitatea din Michigan.
Esau Wood sawed wood. Esau Wood would saw wood. All the wood Esau Wood saw, Esau Wood would saw. In other words, all the wood Esau saw to saw, Esau sought to saw. Oh, the wood Wood would saw!
