As the father of five young children, Jim commented at the dinner table one evening that they hadn’t missed him while he was away on a two-week business trip.

But his six-year-old daughter explained, „That’s because Mommy never told us you were gone.”

All eyes were on the radiant bride as her father escorted her down the aisle. They reached the altar and the waiting groom; the bride kissed her father and placed something in his hand.

The guests in the front pews responded with ripples of laughter. Even the minister smiled broadly. As her father gave her away in marriage, the bride gave him back his credit card.

A man comes to the birth registration office to register his newborn son.

The man behind the counter asks the name he wants to give to the boy, and the father replies: „Euro.”

The man says that such a name is not acceptable, because it’s a currency.

Says the father: „There were no objections when I called my first two sons Mark and Frank.”
