Little Johnny wanted to go to the zoo and pestered his parents for days. Finally his mother talked his reluctant father into taking him.

“So how was it?” his mother asked when they returned home.

“Great,” Little Johnny replied.

“Did you and your father have a good time?” asked his mother.

“Yeah, Daddy especially liked it,” exclaimed Little Johnny excitedly, especially when one of the animals came racing home at 30 to 1!”

„What’s your father’s occupation?” asked the school secretary on the first day of the new academic year.

„He’s a magician, Ma’am,” said Little Johnny.

„How interesting. What’s his favorite trick?” she asked.

„He saws people in half,” answered Little Johnny.

„Gosh that’s exciting. Next question. Any brothers or sisters?” continued the secretary.

„Three half brothers and two half sisters.” replied Little Johnny.

A priest is walking down the street one day when he notices our Little Johnny trying to press a doorbell on a house across the street. However, Little Johnny is very small and the doorbell is too high for him to reach.

After watching Little Johnny efforts for some time, the priest moves closer to the boy’s position. He steps smartly across the street, walks up behind the little fellow and, placing his hand kindly on the child’s shoulder leans over and gives the doorbell a sold ring. Crouching down to the child’s level, the priest smiles benevolently and asks, „And now what, my little man?”

To which Little Johnny replies, „Now we run!”
