A little girl had just finished her first week of school.

„I’m just wasting my time,” she said to her mother. „I can’t read, I can’t write – and they won’t let me talk!”

On a hot summer day, a farmer and his dog were riding in a wagon pulled by two horses. After riding several miles, one of the horses said, „Whew, sure is hot today.”

The farmer, obviously surprised, said aloud, „Damn, I didn’t know horse could talk!”

The dog replied, „Neither did I.”
